Aug. 1st, 2006 09:02 amThe FAQ is up on www.gothcruise.com. This is a work in progress. As I get more questions from people I will be adding to it.

The Explorer of the Seas has the only Ocean Lab on a cruise ship. You can view the webcam and details from the Ocean Lab here. If you're at all interested in Marine Science I highly recommend taking the tour of the lab and attending the sessions given by the visiting scientists. Each sailing they have an expert in one area of Marine Science aboard (they travel for free) and they give a session or two on varying topics.*
You can get a virtual tour of the lab here.
*On our 2004 sailing the visiting researcher worked in government policy concerning fisheries, wildlife, etc. He gave a talk about the destruction of Florida's coral reefs which I found very interesting. Of course I pulled him aside for some geek-talk post session =P
