does anyone know the rates on a single occupancy room?

The materials refer to Currency Conversion Authorization. There are two choices:

A. I choose to pay my onboard charges in the currency of my card. i.e., I choose to use the Royal Caribbean International currency conversion program.

B. I choose to have my credit card issuer convert my onboard charges to the currency of my card in lieu of participating in the Royal Caribbean International currency program.

Does anybody know, what are the merits of each option? It's not immediately clear to me. For all I know, the currency conversion program offered by Royal Caribbean is easier but more expensive.

Given that we are visiting so many different countries, I'm not sure what currency the onboard charges will be in. Euros?

Thanks in advance for explaining this to me. :)
