Just wanted to update on what's going on w/ the precruise dinner and scthuff:
The pirate bar - is holding their monthly dress up night on Saturday Sept 26th. This would mean that for Sunday, you're not going to get the biggest visual dress up bang for the buck. Just want to throw this out there for folks so they're aware.
Friday, Sept, 25th, there is a $10 wine tasting at one of my fav places, Cellars:

I've saved points of interest on this map for people to peruse. Cellars is a great wine shop that us local yocals often frequent and I highly recommend.
In going over some details with the pirate bar, there's no easy way to set up transportation (without it coming out of my pocket initially). Where as the Mai Kai has a company they work with. In the case of the pirate bar, I can set a time for dinner (like 7pm) and folks can arrange to meet at said place. I figure on putting out the what's going on where w/ these locations so folks will get an idea of what to expect.
From a head count, it looks like we have about 20 people total interested in the pre-cruise dinner. If folks are staying close to the port, I would imagine it should be easy to either a) arrange with the hotel for transport for dinner (or whereabouts) or b) cab it.
