Laundry

I know the Explorer will do laundry for a substantial fee-----does anyone living in the NJ/Newark airport area know of a decent, preferably attendant present laundromat that I can use once we get into port?   I got a few choices from laundromatfinder.com, but don't know details, ie safe neighborhoods etc.  Any advice?

1) Do you have access to a car?
2) How much time do you need before you have to go to another destination and where is that?
3) how far are you willing to travel to get to a laundromat?

No access to vehicles, except taxis. Everyone I've asked is unanimous that I need to avoid Newark as much as possible. So the new plan is to flaunt my Hilton Honors card and throw myself at the mercy of the Hampton Inn that is less than a mile from JFK and has coin op laundry. And with my luck the machines will be broken down when I get there. I could ask their permission or just try to sidle in
and hope no one notices or asks for my room number.
I'm heading to Europe, London first, but there will be no time to locate laundry facilities anywhere along the way. Better to struggle with it in the states. I'm trying to make 5 days worth of clothing stretch to 14 days. Luckily, it's all black!!

ok. I was going to suggest a coin-op place by me (Lyndhurst, NJ) which is a small drive from the airport. But it sound like you have it mostly covered then.
