Laundry

I know the Explorer will do laundry for a substantial fee-----does anyone living in the NJ/Newark airport area know of a decent, preferably attendant present laundromat that I can use once we get into port?   I got a few choices from laundromatfinder.com, but don't know details, ie safe neighborhoods etc.  Any advice?

Like I said, I'm a spiller so I usually expect to need to wash something while in transit. I keep the "laundry kit" in my makeup bag- bungee cord, a few plastic clothespins, a little bottle of Woolite and a dryer sheet or two.

I agree that it wouldn't have killed RC to throw a washer and dryer onboard instead of setting up a for profit laundry service. Maybe that ought to make this year's comment card.

I'm wondering if there's anything near the port in Bayonne? That might work, too. It's a working class area but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as Newark.
